Blast clients were among many industry leaders who attended this year’s Cannes Lions Innovation Festival because of the ample networking and deal-making opportunities. A number of our clients, including clypd, Collective, Opera Mediaworks, and The Trade Desk, participated in a range of events from on-the-water attractions to the top industry parties.

Cannes, now considered a mainstay event, has garnered an exponential increase in attendance from global ad tech industry leaders since 2009. Now in its 60th year, the festival has grown by more than 400% to roughly 13,500 delegates, and that rapid growth provides valuable opportunities for technology and advertising professionals in an otherwise congested digital ecosystem.

In past years, ad tech companies conducted festival events on the periphery, but this year, these companies were front and center, proving they are here to stay.
