As Chief of Strategy, Don manages Blast’s overall client strategy and strategic alliance initiatives.

Don also leads Blast PR in expanding the scope of the company’s events program for clients and oversees a team of program managers and account directors in creating optimum earned and paid opportunities in the digital advertising technology industry. In addition, Don serves as Blast PR’s head of operations.

Don is a 25-year veteran of strategy, business development, and alliance building, has served as Blast PR’s Acting CRO since 2011, with a focus on event curation and mobile innovation. Within that time, Don managed an 18M digital marketing conference franchise, and launched game-changing business development deals for the firm relying solely on referrals. Don also served as the go-to mobile strategist for the firm’s client base, evaluating client business models against mobile apps and advertising programs to generate successful mobile and social strategies.

Don’s passions include tinkering with and collecting vintage audio gear, motorcycles and wristwatches. Don currently operates the Blast San Francisco office, where he lives with his wife and 2 boys.
